This product was published on This pot is well made and works well enough – the issue I have with it is that you can’t put as much water in it as you really need to boil the pasta. If you fill it high enough – the water sprays and spatters everywhere when it comes to a boil. But when it’s at a level that prevents the spraying / spattering, it’s a bit lower than I’d like for boiling the pasta. It really should have been made with the insert lower to to bottom of the pan, but overall, it does the job and I haven’t been able to find anything designed any better so it will do.. It’s just big enough for pasta for 4 without us having to use our giant stock pot & strainer. We also use it for small batches of soup and chili when we aren’t cooking for company or leftovers.AND…with the smaller size you can keep it with your other pots and pans (even sharing lids with some other All Clad pieces). With our larger stock pot / strainer we have to keep it in a high (out of the way) cupboard and it’s a pain to get out. This is the “just right” size!!The steel is a tiny bit thinner than that of our regular All Clad kitchenware, but it WORKS GREAT.Note that the base is bottom of the pot is an applied disc that ABSOLUTELY IS INDUCTION COMPATIBLE.
