This product was uploaded on I bought this rice cooker to replace my husbands old one that broke. This one was much smaller, but we didn’t necessarily need a huge one anyway. First, I have to say that the way the parts fit together was very strange. Strange, in that they DIDN’T really fit together at all. The pan that sits inside the warmer doesnt seat itself at all in there, and so it kind of floats around all wobbly-like. The steaming tray fit alright in on top of that, but we found out you couldnt really put a lot of different ingredients in with the rice, because it just wasnt big enough for the rice, the shredded chicken and the veggies we put in there. We were wanting to put the steamer in on top so we could cook the veggies in there, but with just the rice and the chicken, we had no room for the steamer tray, so we just put the veggies into the pot with the rice and left the tray out. Anyway, after its cooking cycle, we went to go see if it did a good job, but we discovered that the rice was burned underneath. Not like, scorched or anything, but it was burned enough to make it have a very distinct, kind of gross flavor. Needless to say, we weren’t happy. We thought that maybe we were expecting too much out of it by cramming so much into it on our first go, so a day later, we tried it again, this time just with the rice. It also came out burned on the bottom. So that’s when we decided that we were going to return it. Fair warning – remember how I said the parts dont seem to fit together? It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get that thing back into it’s original box. It took me about 45 minutes of trying to turn it this way and that, rearranging the order of everything, before I was able to get it “mostly” in there the right way, where I could actually close the box. Overall, I would say that this is just a very… odd piece of equipment. And I didnt like the way it performed.. We have searched the internet to get the best prices available.
