This product was uploaded on Purchased this set about a month ago – was very excited to have it replace a potpourri set of sundry pieces accumulated over the years. Upon receipt I took an inventory and quickly determined that the lid for the 10″ skillet was not included, nor was the 1.5 QT saucepan & its lid. Amazon’s response, of course, – as it should have been – was to return the entire set for a complete replacement. Well, that option was, at best, totally inconvenient due to the time required to send one and receive another. So, I opted to go direct to Cuisinart – WONDERFUL customer service; however, I was informed, to my shock & dismay, that the 1.5 QT saucepan IS NOT a part of this set (the rep said that Amazon’s description on their webpage was incorrect). But the customer service rep said she would send the lid for the 10″ skillet – took over 2 weeks to receive it – and, during the same call I ordered a similar (this particular model IS NOT AVAILABLE) 1.5 QT saucepan to the tune of about $40.00 – in the interim I began using the cookware, and, much to my surprise & chagrin, EVERY piece discolored terribly and showed pitting in the bottom (from something as simple as boiling eggs on MEDIUM heat – as suggested by Cuisinart). Another call to Cuisinart! Another VERY NICE lady gladly began replacing pieces. It was then that my ancient brain FINALLY realized that this could go on in an eternal, continuous cycle because of one simple fact: this now Chinese-made product IS NOT THE QUALITY, IN WORKMANSHIP OR RAW MATERIAL, that I had become accustomed to years ago before most all of America’s manufacturing had decided to take the low road through China!!! So, I ended up returning the entire shoddy, cheap mess to Amazon (was supposed to be a no-cost-to-me return for me but in fact cost me another $40.00 – will take that up with Amazon @ another time – are you aware that as of this date, last week of May, in the year COVID-19, that Amazon customer service is NOT taking phone calls?! – “to better serve our customers”. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY CUISINART COOKWARE – THERE IS NO TELLING WHAT MAY LEECH INTO YOUR FOOD AND BE DIGESTED BY YOUR FAMILY! – Americans should boycott EVERYTHING made in China!. I know how to cook with them and how to clean them. I did research the reviews and usually like cuisinart products. They are very hard to keep a good appearance. They have spots and marks that will not come off. Although I know this does not affect their usability, I like my pans to stay looking good. I sent pictures to the company and they still asked me to send more. Why? I would think they would stand behind their product without making you go through a lot of BS. I have too much going on in my life to have to go back and forth with a company. I would not recommend them and I would not buy them again.I have included a picture of one pan.
